“Dewdrops of Aso,” which springs from the depths of Minami Aso, is located in the same water system as Shirakawa Spring Source, one of the top 100 water sources of the Showa Era (1926-1989), and Minami Aso Mura Springs, which were chosen as one of the top 100 water sources of the Heisei Era (1989-present) in Japan. It is delicious to drink, perfect for such dishes as stewed vegetables, and rice cooked with this water is reputed to be “exquisite.” Flavors will enhance when applied to other cooking as well. Guests may freely take home “Dewdrops of Aso”; help yourself to a sample!
